Tamatar Gosht

One of the most easiest and quickest and utterly delicious recipe to make, a perfect dish for those lazy days when you don't want to spend too much time in kitchen....

Ingredients:

½ kg Mutton
½ kg tomatoes (sliced or chopped)
3-4 4 green chili
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp ginger garlic paste (added in 1/3 cup water)
1 & ½ tsp Salt (or to taste)
1 & ½ tsp red chili powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp dry roasted and crushed cumin seeds
2-3 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
½ cup oil

Method:

1) Heat oil in a pan and add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, once they start to crackle add in the chopped onions. Fry for 2-3 minutes then add in the ginger garlic paste along with mutton pieces and fry for a few minutes

2) Next add in the salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, tomatoes and 1 & ½ cup of water, cover the pan and cook on low medium flame till the meat gets done.

3) Once the meat gets tender, fry it till oil comes on top, lastly add in the sliced/chopped green chilies, chopped coriander and roasted and crushed cumin seeds. Mix it nicely and turn of the flame, serve it with naans, chapattis or boiled rice and salad.
