Macaroni Salad

This salad is so quick and easy to prepare and you only need a few ingredients. you can have it on its own or serve it as a side dish...

Macaroni Salad


2 cups uncooked macaroni (boiled in lightly salted water)
2 medium tomatoes (deseed and chopped finely)
1 medium onion (chopped finely)
1 large capsicum (chopped finely)
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp salt (or use according to taste)
½ tsp crushed black pepper
½ tsp garlic paste
4-5 tbsp ketchup
4-5 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp tabasco sauce (or use hot sauce instead)
2-3 tbsp cream
A few black olives
You can also add in sweet corn, sweet gherkins, shredded cabbage or even add in some roasted chicken)

Macaroni Salad


Take a large bowl, add in the cooked macaroni, and then add in all the chopped veggies, garlic paste, sugar, salt, pepper and sauces. Mix well, taste it and adjust according to your taste.  Put in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hours and serve chilled.
